Godly Truths
Flee sexual immorality! “Every sin that a man does is outside the body,” but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.

Today’s Truth
You Saw the Fork
1 Corinthians 6:18 · World English Bible
You kill the engine in the work truck and the lot goes quiet except for the tick of hot metal. The phone is face up on the seat, and your thumb already knows the path. You told yourself you were checking the weather for tomorrow's roof. The screen is brighter than the streetlight, and the next tap is not weather. You have stood at this fork enough times to stop calling it an accident. You saw it when you stayed in the cab instead of going inside.
Paul does not hand you a strategy for staying and winning. He tells you to flee. The sin he names is not a thought you can park outside your skin and pick up later. It is against your own body. Your instinct is to linger, to prove you can look and still leave, to rename the minute as nothing. The text will not bless that bargain. Strength here is not a longer stare. Strength is your hand on the door and your feet on the gravel before the excuse finishes forming.
Leaving costs the story you wanted to finish and the heat you were about to take. It also costs the lie that you did not see the turn. Mercy is not a promise that the pull dies in the cab. Mercy is that the Lord is not ashamed to meet a man who actually walks away. Your body is not spare parts for a private appetite. It belongs to Him. Get out of the truck and go where the screen cannot follow you.
Today’s Challenge
Delete the thread, search, or number you keep almost opening, then put the phone in another room and do not bring it back before you sleep.
Pray
Father, I saw the fork and I wanted to call it nothing. Jesus, this body is Yours, not a private appetite. Give me feet that leave before the screen decides, and meet me when I do. Amen.
